Learning how to get a great feeling melee combat can be challenging. This talk will compare and contrast a game I recently designed to classic and modern ARPG's to design a melee combat that feels good.

I'm a Gameplay Engineer working on interactive simulations and game based education. In my off time I research and develop games for entertainment with a focus on 3rd person character combat.
